Tobago Today.

Currently here... I am not going to lie. Its nice.

Here with 3 of my posse - who have all travelled with me before and individually said travelling with me has been one of the best trips in their life.

Now I just went bargaining for a jeep and we have the next 4 days to bum around the island with a tent.. I haven't really done this in years...

So this is exciting for me to spend time with my mates....

Gotta run - no email or phones for the next 4 days EXCITED!!!

Yesterday I spent over 13 hrs in a row

working in front of my computer...
Trying to finish 2 1/2 weeks worth of homework and trip logistics before I leave the country in 3 days!!!
My eyes were red by the end of the nite, which was around 2amish...
My bladder felt abused from the amount of tea that I drank...
But the worse news out of all that... was that I finished all the gummie bears in my place.
Now what I am going to do? - I can't pull another one of these off with the aid of those damn gummie bears.
Sweet. Not Sweet.

Hotties for Humanity.

Next week I get some one on one time with the Trinidad Director of Habitat for Humanity.

But someone in fundraising class today someone pointed this out to me.
Sorry you need to log into the evil facebook to see it.

Oh God and I do mean Oh God.
What the hell is going on?

As a fundraiser I have conflicting values, that I still need to sort out.
In the meantime I think I will stick with Habitat for Humanity.

Another corner + white stuff...

Yesterday it all froze....all that slushed froze... then Mother Nature decided to add some -30 Artic blast....

Today she yelled out snow and the entry way into de' loft was insane...

The corner.

Every torontonian right now is dreading this...

It's been a nightmare to walk on the streets of Toronto for the past 2 weeks.
Around every corner there is a surprise of slush ....

And I hear that there might be another 10-20cm of snow next week.
Sweet - I say bring it on!

i heart india

The first info session is tomorrow.
Kinda nervous - who's going to come?

It's weird - instead of taking those job offers to do India with another NGO and have some sort of security. I decided to branch out alone and kinda starve while doing it. This is definitely a labour of love - too bad it's not going to take me out for valentines.

Agnes the new co-leader rocked out on the design! Thanks!
Blake and I rocked out the crazy concept. i heart you blake!

I received over 130 emails today?

What the hell? How did that happen?

Partially it's because I have bitten off more than I can chew ... with a Carribean trip in less than 2 weeks, Nepal, India and being in a more than full time Post Grad program - ummm life is really busy and I spend most of my time sitting in front of a computer or a desk.
I might see my best mate at least once this month and I just miss doing normal things like going for a cup of tea or taking a nice stroll down the street.

Right now school politics is slowly draining the little bit of life out of me, however the classes are soooo amazing and the teachers are actually quite cool.

Let's see if I could take another week. I kinda doubt it.

Posted this.

School + work is driving me insane but THIS story made me laugh for such a long time... even while riding the tube [ yes Karen I call it a tube]
All dutch aren't like this? Are they?
The ones that I meet on the road are all flawless all of em'

After one quick peep I came up with some cool stuff.

Pray for Mo

4:14 AM

Please cover Mo with prayer right now. The truck with the maize has just crashed into a river. The bridge gave out under the weight. After getting seriously stuck this morning, they only just made it past Nsanje. Nobody is hurt. Praise God. However, the maize is all in the river along with the rented truck. Thankfully, the Pinzgauer and the Styr, and their passengers were not on the bridge. Pray for calm, and for wisdom. Our phone line was bad, so details are few, but God will lead you to pray.
Thank you. Jo

5:20 AM

I just talked to Mo again. The river bed is dry for the time being. The truck fell about 5 feet and rolled onto its roof. The driver and passengers were knocked about but not seriously hurt. They are trying to salvage as much maize as possible, storing it at a local school. It is raining right now so they need to figure out what to do about the truck. Please keep praying for wisdom.
Thank you, Jo

This man started me off in trips.  We worked together for 6 years at camp and on the ground in Trini and we did some amazing things...

Everytime I get an email from him - I just get moved by it all.
Love. Love. Love.
